Inspiration for Annie Haak Jewellery came when Annie's husband Jonny was involved in an accident in Bali. She decided to create silver charms with goodwill wishes, so developed the Guardian Angel charm to look over her husband whilst recovering this has become one of her signature pieces.

Filming of Barclay Card at Randalls Jewellers Altrincham

Well, Last Thursday (21st April) was yet another exciting day for us at Randalls Jewellers we had been chosen as a location for a new Barclay Card advertisement, along with 15 other businesses!

The filming started around 6pm, with the props guys arriving first to re-arrange our shop, we had already been given specific instructions on what we could have in shot and had to conceal various brand names, as well as move a few cabinets around.

Actors and Actresses had been hired for this commercial, the young Gent below was a customer buying and engagement ring from the sales assistant lady in blue 

There was also another Lady in blue as an extra sales assistant for background shots

The shop got quite busy and messy and we had to move to the back area whilst they filmed, thankfully we could still watch however as they had screens in the back to view how the shots were being done.

We couldn't believe how many bodies were around for such a short piece of film! they were everywhere, outside the front, outside the back, they even had a large sandwich wagon stationed at the back doors, the film crew had been at it all day it was a merit to them how dedicated and focused they remained to get everything done correctly.

It all took around 2 & 1/2 hours to complete, there is a small section of the gent buying the ring, then another one of him paying for it, each case we have tried to get a tiny bit of the Randalls logo in there so when you watch it, you'll know it's us.

Finally the director (who we believe had previously directed the film 'The Full Monty') was a happy chap and announced it was a wrap they then packed u and carried on to their last location.

If you want to catch that glimpse of us in the advert, you can by watching the finals of 'Britain's got Talent' on the 28th May.

Champagne Sundays at Randalls Jewellers

If you have ever visited Randalls Jewellers (especially on a Saturday) you are likely to encounter a small gathering at the back of our shop. This is where we have our 'regular visits' from our most treasured customers as well as friends we have just met. 

Over the years we have come to recognize the relaxed atmosphere and importance that chatting with these customers brings, and have therefore devised a plan, to recreate these events by holding a purpose built gathering opportunity, where customers are invited to Randalls Jewellers to share in a glass of Bubbly as well as receive 10% off any purchases if they so desire but more importantly to get to know us and how proud we are of our shop's very own personality.

The first of our 'Champagne Sundays' will be held on 1st May 2016 and invitations will be given to every person who calls at Randalls Jewellers and makes a purchase between now and then.

The Real Housewives of Cheshire Visit Randalls Jewellers!

As some of the locals to Altrincham know, back in January we had a great opportunity to have Tanya Bardsley from 'The Real Housewives of Cheshire' star choose us 'Randalls Jewellers' for the launch of her new Jewellery collection. So, on Sunday 24th of January we closed our doors and locked the camera crew in for an exciting days filming.

It was an early start for crew and staff, we had no idea what to expect, lots of Tanya's family and friends started to arrive, with a few extra's who we knew to fill the shop up and then a little eye candy for us ladies with the 2 half naked butlers who got themselves glittered up by 'Wish upon a sparkle'.

The actual filming started around 1pm at the 'Altrincham Market' where you saw in the show on Monday 4th April the Cheshire Housewives had a quick stroll. The first to enter 'Randalls Jewellers' were 'Dawn & Leanne' Looking as Glamorous as ever. Shortly followed by Lauren and Ampika, well, as you saw, that took a few people by surprise...

'The Real Housewives of Cheshire' arrived to our store in style and had their very own red carpet, however this was not just because they were visiting us, the true reason for such glamour was of course explained earlier, Tanya Bardsley Jewellery #DreamsToReality collection.

We are currently proud to be exclusive stockist of 'Tanya Bardo Jewellery' (apart from her very own website!) and have been since January, the recording of the show, and we are please to report that it has sold well in it's own right without it's owners TV endorsement which proves to us that Tanya has created a line of jewellery that is successful.
