Well, Last Thursday (21st April) was yet another exciting day for us at Randalls Jewellers we had been chosen as a location for a new Barclay Card advertisement, along with 15 other businesses!

The filming started around 6pm, with the props guys arriving first to re-arrange our shop, we had already been given specific instructions on what we could have in shot and had to conceal various brand names, as well as move a few cabinets around.
Actors and Actresses had been hired for this commercial, the young Gent below was a customer buying and engagement ring from the sales assistant lady in blue
There was also another Lady in blue as an extra sales assistant for background shots

The shop got quite busy and messy and we had to move to the back area whilst they filmed, thankfully we could still watch however as they had screens in the back to view how the shots were being done.
We couldn't believe how many bodies were around for such a short piece of film! they were everywhere, outside the front, outside the back, they even had a large sandwich wagon stationed at the back doors, the film crew had been at it all day it was a merit to them how dedicated and focused they remained to get everything done correctly.
It all took around 2 & 1/2 hours to complete, there is a small section of the gent buying the ring, then another one of him paying for it, each case we have tried to get a tiny bit of the Randalls logo in there so when you watch it, you'll know it's us.
Finally the director (who we believe had previously directed the film 'The Full Monty') was a happy chap and announced it was a wrap they then packed u and carried on to their last location.
